When the weather gets warmer, like it has recently, I can't wait to grill. Chicken, fish, steaks, chops, and, of course, ribs are among my specialties. And I love grilling vegetables and fruits, too. On weekends, I pull out a cast-iron gridle and some of my old, old skillets to make breakfast for the family. I'm a grill maniac, I guess. I can't get enough of the yard, and I can't get enough of the grill. Over the years, I've come across dozens of grill-oriented products, from oil-treated pads (grill wipes) that prevent meat from sticking to the grate to seasoned briquets that enhance a smoky flavor. Some of these gadgets work; some don't. I do like ceramic briquets that seem to retain heat, but I'm not big on flavor-enhancing products. They seem phony.
